Two newbuilding MR Tankers, 50k dwt IMO 3, delivered from GSI, China. The tankers have been fixed on a long term charter to a major oil trader. The fist vessel was delivered on 15 May 2015 and the sister on 30 June 2015.

After some delay, the newbuilding handysize logger has been delivered from Maple Leaf, China, in February 2015. The vessel has been fixed on a repositioning voyage to the Atlantic where she joins a mini-pool of sister vessels.

December 15, 2014

Two MR tankers of 47,000 dwt joined the fleet in December 2014 and have been put on bareboat charters to a Major Oil Company. Both vessels, built 2005 in Hyundai Mipo, are currently trading in Asia in clean products trade.

As follow-on to the two handysize loggers an newbuilding order was placed in early 2014. The vessel will be built in a quality Chinese yard and is scheduled for delivery towards the end of 2014.

The vessel was purchased in September 2013 and delivered shortly after. Upon delivery the vessel commenced a long-term charter, which was structured to offer the investors downside protection while maintaining the benefit of a recovering market.
